Perceptions of Oneness from Scott Rabalais |

My Vision During the 1970s, my family visited NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, where I purchased a book that contained photographs taken during the Apollo lunar missions. One of the photographs was an image of Earth, perhaps the same photograph of Earth that is depicted above. I cut out that photo, placed it in a frame and hung it on my wall, where it remained for years.Once I left home, I took the image with me and placed it in work binders, where it served as a reminder of a particular perspective - one of oneness, global perspective and harmony. To this day, it's among my favorite photographs. My journey within has led me to a place where I am in total surrender to my Higher Self. Daily, I commit myself and my life to Spirit and aim to serve as a vessel for the divine to experience whatsoever it so wishes. This is my philosophy that is actually no philosophy; it is an effortless effort to live in harmony with the universe. A variety of experiences in my lifetime has brought me to a place I call integrative universality. Not only do I see and feel the oneness of existence, I live it within me. It is not only an observation, but the essence of who I am. I am the universe itself and anything I am or do is simply the universe working through me. There is a River of Life running through me, out into the universe and back through me. Every soul on this planet carries the same River of Life within. I am as connected to the Earth, our home, as my breath is connected to my soul. As we need the Earth for our sustenance, the Earth needs us for its life and growth. It is indeed a Mother Earth. I recognize that the future of our planet is in the hands of those on the planet, your hands and mine. We are the custodians not only of our own fates, but the fate of our precious Earth. Looking about, it is easy to see that we are at a time when our planet is evolving at an accelerating rate. Thus, the innate desire beckons within me to serve the planet and my fellow souls in whatever way the divine, my Higher Self, deems so. And my purpose, what I live for, lies is such service. True evolution is the evolution of consciousness. It is the root from which all is created on our planet. What we see and experience in our "outer" world is simply a reflection of that which we perceive within us, both individually and collectively. And the key to a "heaven on earth" is in the shift from a predominance of separation consciousness to one of unity consciousness. In doing so, the infinite wisdom and creativity of Spirit will become manifest on Earth. There are those who exist on this planet to point the way and gently remind others of their own infinite and divine nature. Many have come before us to show the way; many are present and others will follow. This mission is not one of persuasion or belief or any philosophy whatsoever. The mission is simply to be, and in that being serve as a transformational spark for humanity. In one of my articles is a quote with which I feel a strong resonance: Upon realizing freedom, the heart of a man becomes the heart of the universe. There are those who purposefully step forward to lift the consciousness of the planet and its inhabitants. These are the self-chosen souls who take responsibility not only for themselves, but to all which they are connected. In unity consciousness, there is no division between the self and others, there is only Self, the All in All. And thus, in unity what one is and what one does is what the universe is and does. From the depths of who I am, this I declare: I carry the Earth in the palm of my hand and the depths of my heart. It is my solemn and sacred honor to lift it to a higher place. *** |
